BreakingBlackNews.com has learned that a Memphis, Tennessee woman named Abka Re Bey, who the criminal affidavit lists as Tabitha Gentry, has been arrested for squatting into a 3 million dollar foreclosed mansion in a high-end Memphis neighborhood.
Tabitha Gentry has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of property over $60,000.00, and criminal trespass.
According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Gentry was driving a white Jaguar when she was taken into custody Friday just before 1 a.m.
Her 13-year-old daughter was with her at the time of the arrest and was also taken into custody.
Just after 1 a.m., SWAT team members cut the chains on the gate and gained entry to the mansion. Search dogs were also on the property.
